How to Apply

To apply for entry into the elite races, email proof of qualification to our Elite Athlete Relations Coordinator, Derek Holdsworth derek@yakimamile.org.

You will be notified via phone or email if you have been accepted into the elite race. Comparable times for other distances will also be evaluated for entry into the elite heats. Meeting the qualifying marks does not guarantee acceptance into the elite competition.

RISING STARS

The Rising Stars Mile invites elite high school athletes, state qualifiers, and college mid-distance runners to compete in a thrilling one-mile road race along Yakima Avenue. This point-to-point course offers a fast-paced and exciting environment to showcase talent and speed.
