Home of the Fastest Mile in Washington
The Yakima Mile is a one-mile, point-to-point road race, opening a gradual downhill course along Yakima Ave and finishing in the shadows of the historic Art Deco Larson Building. This mile is for everyone–people of all ages and abilities can come together to celebrate the joy of movement and community!

As we prepare for our 7th Annual Yakima Mile on June 6, 2026, we're excited to announce that this year's prize purse will exceed $60,000. Beyond the competition, we continue our commitment to fostering a welcoming and one-of-a-kind event; highlighting and celebrating the Yakima Valley.
Together, we support YWCA Yakima and survivors of Domestic Violence through the Miles Against Violence pledge run, an event within the event. When you participate, you're not just running a race, you're contributing to a cause that matters, helping create a safer and more compassionate community for all. Find out more about our why on our across the United States, visit our why i run page.

See you on Yakima Ave.
